once the borax is mixed and sits around for awhile does all the borax settle to the bottom of the jar, or is there still enough borax in the water to have a positive effect on the glass,

you will see where he says he anneals these pieces from 1 to 2 1/2 weeks, is this for real? what do you folks think, what would be a good and proper annealing schedule for things like this

ive never tried this on glass, but for lots of other purposes, the STABILLO (sp) that you get at the art store is good,,,it comes off with a wet cloth when you are finished with the application, id give that a try

i read here where the *oldtimers* would put kerosene on the glass, after it was scored, and then light it on fire, to burn it off, and that the glass would break,,,,so my question is this, if i take a piece and score a grid pattern and do the kerosene thing, will it break into a bunch of little sqar...

I was not going to fasten with screws but with
nuts and bolts. Not tightening too much, and premade holes big enough to allow thermal expansion.

I've always taken it up to 1400 or higher, and I fire multiple times without problems. I don't know how glossy it will be at 1350, but you won't ruin the PP. It's so full of flux that it fires up nicely in my experience over and over again. CAN YOU TAKE THE TEMP to over 1500 without burning the PP ...
