Mine doesn't either, but I was hoping that it might...that would have solved Cynthia's dilemma.

Re: Hanging your Piece Question

I just made a Stained Glass panel that has a 2lb cast piece in the center. The panel is round (4 sq ft) framed in 1/2" came. I know when adding the rings to hang with, I need to run the wire into the seams for a stronger hold. Well the panel was hanging about 4 hours when I noticed the solder ...

I had to source this out just last week for a client. You need to find a big kiln. Look under Glass Bending in the Yellow Pages to find someone in your area who can do this.

I recently slumped a float bowl at 1250 degrees. I applied borax overspray to prevent devit, and the borax did not mature but left a frosted look translucent top on what should have been a crystal clear bowl.

Brad..

How does the new program cover threads like this one that morph from kiln forming discussion to becoming candidates for either the photo board or Spab's place?

Maybe an entry in a new category for the next WGW showing...best fouled up kiln shelf? I remember a recent thread where people were discussing things that can happen to kiln shelves and hanging them in their studio as reminders...ah well, it's Friday.
