Do you have any more info on the armstrong glass dennis? I agree, that would have a big impact.

This is probably a dumb question, but why wasn't a line of coloured float ever brought out?( I haven't seen any)...

info

Hi Paul, From your post I gather that you are having glass shipped in from the states. I`d be interested to know a little bit more about that if it`s alright with you. You can PM me if you like. I`d be interested in who you order from, prices etc. Hope to hear from you soon, cheers. dave

Kilnspace in the UK...........................

Hi guys, Ok, this is a plea for help. I need to rent some kiln space to do a job I`ve been commissioned to do. I need to make 2 windows to be inserted in the middle of a triple glazed unit. The glass is triangular shaped and approx 2M x .9M. So I need a kiln at least 2M x 1M. The job is to create a ...

Also try BOHLE, they stock molds that look just like bullseye and creative glass molds. Probably all made in the same factory somewhere!

.5mm fibre paper

Hi guys, I`ve been using thinfire for a while now and find it really easy to use. I`ve also got a range of fibre papers in various thicknesses. When using the 2-3mm paper I`ve always pre fired the binder out first, but what about the .5mm paper? Do I still need to prefire this? It is fibre paper rat...

OK,that seemed to work ok. I`ve been playing around with glass for about 18 months now. I`ve been hooked since day one and I pretty much knew that I wanted to make a living out of it since the start. I`ve managed to sell a bit as I learned and I`m now getting regular work. It`s very exciting!!! http:...

Hi again, Lots of ideas!!! I`ve decided to go with some thin carpet, only about 3mm thick. It`s cheap and easy to get hold of and I think it`ll work really well. I can cover it with some board if needed. We moved the kiln and got everything wired in yesterday and had the first firing today. The work...

What do you use to cover your cutting table?????

Hi everyone, Well,it`s happened! The time has come to move into my first workshop. I can`t tell you how exciting it is to be moving somewhere with enough space to swing a cat. Also, excited and nervous about going full time into the glass. But I can`t wait to get started properly. I`ve built a 2 sqm...
