i hope she doesn't mind me posting the link, but i think j.savina has a great studio set up. it's more tailored for stained glass work, but i think the organization, storage space, workstations and lighting are great. here's a link to the gallery page: http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/view?p=999&...

interesting..see this is event is a demographic i have absolutely no perspective on, other than the fact we're female [from what i've been told, the event is mainly attended by women who are 40-50ish, upper middle class, and (most) have had breast cancer.] so i'm kinda planning in the dark here. i'm...

Pink suggestions

i've been asked to make some pieces of jewelry for key speakers at a breast cancer conference. along with everything else, the jewelry needs to be pink. i, of the very un-pinkishness, have no idea what sort of pinks are available from any of the manufacturers, and since the conference is the 20th i ...

But since your the all powerful one here on your business section  maybe she raised up her big stick a li'l too early, but i'm glad she said something. making geri out to be a board nazi is nonsense, and seeming to assume that she just lurks here waiting for an opportunity to jump in and thro...

try a search for rattail (that's what the 'satin string' is called) i think i got mine for like $30 a spool. it was a while ago too so i might be very wrong about that. there's always leather cord, but that gets pricey...lately i've been using rubber cord, 3 yards for a dollar, good stuff. that cord...

printer recommendation

i just picked up a new printer, the hp psc 2110. it's a printer/scanner/copier combo. (i don't need a fax, but if you do it's the 2210 i think that has the fax capabilities) this thing is GREAT. it's fast, quiet, the 'normal' print setting is as good as my old printer's 'best', the scanner takes gre...

mk 215gl saw blade

has anybody ever used this blade? i just replaced my old blade with it, was very excited...but now can't seem to use it. everytime i try and cut there's major sparking and a burning smell, almost as if it's cutting dry...but it's not. there's the regular water feed from the saw, then i set it up so ...
