okay so I got the shape I want with the grinder but now..

I used a glass grinder to shape the pieces because they looked like blobs (after using a microwave kiln) but now the edges are ugly mat black. now what?

Grind with successively fine sandpaper or diamond pads and water until a luster, then fire polish
