decals

Post by Terry Rothwell »

I'm in Santa Fe, NM now and have been asked about making Day of the Dead style pendants. I've seen photos of some very nice colored skull decals applied to fused glass but I can't find anything other than black or white. Anyone know where I can find the "Sugar Skull" decals in color? Thanks in advance for any help with this.

There are metallic gold and silver ones at this site.

My apologies for being late to the thread, I just registered today.

I looked for some alphabet decals about a month ago in a specific font and couldn't find them. I plan on using this service to get what I need:

http://decals4artists.com/index.html

You create a color 300dpi Photoshop file, 10in x 15.5in, and upload it to their site. They print the color decal and mail it to you. It's $40 for one sheet.

If you're fusing a lot of small items like I am, this is a nice deal. The hard part is creating the Photoshop file because I don't want to waste any space and get as much as I can in the 10in x 15.5in area. It's going to take me a while to get my file finished.

There are different qualities of decals and since I haven't used the service, yet, I can't actually recommend them. When I get my final image complete and get my decal sheet, I'll let you know how it went.

Good luck with the project.
