Art and Healing at Boston's Spaulding Hospital

This forum focuses on the artistic "why" and "what" more than the technical "how". Put more philosophical (but still art and glass related) posts here.

Art and Healing at Boston's Spaulding Hospital

Post by Paul Housberg »

After a bit of a hiatus (two back-to-back installations), I've posted a blog entry about the art program at the new Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston. The program includes quite a large piece that I created for the lobby (file under Shameless Self Promotion).

You can read about here: https://www.facebook.com/housberg

or here, along with a series of blog entries about the creation of this work: http://www.glassproject.com/blog

Thanks!

Beautiful...thank you for sharing this with us, Paul
Do you have work on display in RI ? My family is in RI and I'd love to see some of your work when I'm there next.

I've got a piece at the GTECH Center in Providence (next to the Providence Place Mall) http://www.glassproject.com/gtech-center/ and a little piece at Slice of Heaven in Jamestown RI. "Slice" as it's affectionately called is a great lunch place in the summer: http://www.sliceofheavenri.com/. Go for the food and pastries, and a walk at Beavertail, not my glass!
