Ok...magnets done...any suggestions on best way to send them? Does each one need to be individually wrapped to be safely mailed? Thanks for the advice

Depends upon the design. Consider that they will be boxed with 47 other pieces of glass and the boxers won't (and can't be expected) to wrap or otherwise package your piece so it does't get broken.

I placed all mine in little self-seal bubble wrap packages. In previous years, mine were fairly resilient slabs and I just put them in a 2x3" individual plastic (non-padded) bags.

I divided them up into three baggies. So I had what looked kinda like three sticks of butter. Then I cinched the plastic baggies down and taped them onto themselves so that the glass didn't move around.
I wrapped these in the foam/paper type sheets that comes when you order glass sometimes.
Then I cinched that down and taped it onto itself.
then I suspended the whole thing in a medium flat rate box full of Styrofoam peanuts.
hope it gets there ok!

But what about shipping back out? You have to remember your maglesses are going both ways.

Can you give me your source for the small bags? I can't find small ones in small quantities. Thanks

I bought 100 from Amazon. I figure I'll use the remaining half for my maglesses next year :)

Wow! So glad I saw this before I mailed my magnets!! Bought those bubble pouches, and I feel far more confident that my magnets will reach their final destinations intact! :D

Thanks! And I'm really looking forward to seeing what everyone made!
