from the series very, very basic, chapter 2

I am trying to do a panel, and I want to glue some pieces of mirror behind a glass layer.
I tried silicon and UV glue, but both appear from the glass side. It seems that itÂ´s a wet spot.
There is any way to do this?

You have to do a full coverage in order to prevent the "spot" - Barbara

if the panel is going to be in a frame of some sort, maybe you could adhere the mirror to the front piece of glass by using silicone just along the extreme outside edges which will be covered by the frame.

Do you mean spread the glue all over the mirror? Wich one will work better?

I don't know how large an area you are trying to cover. Smaller the better. Both will work, but the UV will be a much better clean-up, and shorter set-up time. Depends on the color glass you are trying to adhere. If not red, yellow, green, orange or some ambers...the UV would probably be best. - Barbara

The area isnÂ´t very small, but the glass is clear, and I find UV glue easier to use .

Do be careful not to get the UV glue on the edges of your mirror. It will eat the silvering. Actually silicone will eat silvering also unless it is a "neutral cure" silicone.
