sink help and beveler info needed

Post by boomer »

Hi! I hope someone knows these things:

I have made a glass sink out of Bullseye and am wondering if this is an appropriate glass for the wear and tear and temperature changes of water, and the pressure of the drain valve, etc. It is well annealed. Would a different glass have been better? Can this one be tempered?

Also, I am looking for a bevel machine that is easy to use and not too many parts and have been told there is one by R and S or RS. I can find no information on it. I have found one by Diamond Tech and am wondering if anyone has any info on either. It must be dummy proof for me to use.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!

I have made BE sinks with no problem. You didn't mention how thick or how large the vessel is, or why you think it might be a problem. And, no, you don't want to temper it.
