Hi, I have a Wizling Grinder by Inland (?) that is over 15 years old. I've been looking for a grinder bit that will carve channels around the edges of cabochons to allow for wire-wrapping. Does anyone know of a supplier who might carry these? I have checked with many of my usual suppliers and they don't seem to have this particular grinder head. Thanks!

Several online suppliers carry this "groove bit". I know Alpine Glass does, though it's mispelled as "grove bit". It's made by Glastar.

Meka (ME 10S) also makes one, I buy them all the time from my stained glass supplier, Fusion Stained Glass, in Calgary. They cost around $60 Canadian and I get between 750 - 1000 cabs grooved with each bit.

Hmmm...my link didn't work. They carry both Mica and Glastar--just do a search for "jewelry bit."
