drop ring question

Post by Pam »

Has anyone tried putting a kiln shelf on top of a disk to be dropped through a drop ring in order to prevent it from falling through? Any other thoughts on keeping the disk from falling through?

Thanks,
Pam

What is your schedule? All my drop ring disasters have been a result of my schedule

Typically I've been going at 300 dph to 1100 then 25 dph to 1250 and holding until it's done. This is for BE 3 - 4 layers. The one yesterday was a bit smaller than the outer edge of the dropring so I was worried from the start.
