You could try a two part slump. First slump into a bowl mold. Second slump/drape, turn the bowl upside down over your form so the sides are hanging down and watch and hold. I did that once a long time ago - didn't like the look of the wobbly bottomed bowl so draped it over a floral former. If memory serves, it turned out pretty even, but it was about three years ago and I don't have that piece any more.
