Does anyone have any ideas how to create a kiln fired frame that will stand up?

Glue the commercial cardboard frame stand onto the back of your kiln fired frame. Brock

Brock, thanks for the suggestion. That was my first thought. However, the glass seems too heavy for the cardboard backing. I would only consider gluing cardboard to the actual picture area, so that it does not show through the glass.
Any other ideas?
Thanks

Oh, THAT kind of frame! I've been thinking, why would anyone want to put their kiln on a cardboard frame! Okay I'm awake now.

Ladie, how about adhering the fused frame to a piece of picture frame glass.

A design progression from that would be a step or recess in the back of the fused frame that the piece of glass could sit into. Maybe slump the frame over a piece of fibrepaper thicker than the picture glass.

slow but sure boy
