I stumbled across the board a few months after it began. I can honestly say that without the free exchange of information that goes on here, my journey into this wonderful world of warm glass would not be advanced as it is. Thanks to this board, I met a person who has become a wonderful friend and with whom I try to spend my Monday mornings playing with glass. I have also done my best to tell all the glassies I meet about what a wonderful place this is, and our conversations often start with "Did you see the Warm Glass topic about. . . " Two of these people have also become very good friends, and we have Saturday glass play days as often as our collected schedules allow.

Thank you, Brad, for allowing us to play on your playground and for keeping it a fun and safe place to be.

Thanks as well to everyone else out there, whether you contribute regularly or just do what I usually do and try to soak up the wisdom that is so readily shared.

Now, I think a celebratory glass of wine is in order. Cheers! (Am I allowed to say that or has it already been taken???)

Brian- funny you should mention that- I just finished renovations in the studio that involved moving the office from perfectly good work space into my son's (former) playroom. It was all done very sneakily, no one noticed that he'd lost some acreage.

Brian, you'd be proud of me!
Maybe I should teach this cheatin' technology instead of fusing. Judith!?!?!
