which glue for pendants

I think I read in here that Welders (industrial) had the best results for gluing bails to pendants. So which do I use? Welders or E6000?

Lyn,

I've been using two-part epoxy from Wal-Mart with good results.

Rough up the back of the glass and the bail before applying the epoxy.

I have been using E-6000 with great results. You do need to rough up both surfaces, and it does fine.

i hate E6000,,,ive had bad results, and the stuff really stinks, and the stink doesnt seem to go away,,,,the stuff i use with great results is THE WELDER from walmart,,,,make sure you are in a well ventilated room, but for me, this is the stuff,,rodney

2-part epoxy.

my studio is so cold I have 17 items of clothing on so the glue doesn't seem to harden off completely.

Digging it with your nail leaves a small indentation.

Solution; write schedule! Fire at 50degC and soak for 30 minutes!

Locktite - the glass broke (not the glue joint) when I tried to pull the join apart.

I use the non-yellowing UV product with Primer N, which is a quick set catalyst.
