Wall Mounting

Post by DonnaG »

Sometimes I get carried away with a design and get 3/4 of the way through before I realize I haven't thought it out completely (this has never happened to anyone else, right?). On my worktable at the moment are two mermaids -- each approximately 18" tall and 4 1/2" wide. My poor Taurus 3 is about to mutiny on me after all these fancy curves. However, once I get them fired, I'm not quite sure how to hang them. So far all my work has been panels, bowls, vases, etc. Any suggestions (other than metal rings or drilling holes)? There are just so so many options on the net.
Thanks - Donna

If there are opal areas to mask them, aluminum Panel Clips are great. They're also called French Cleats, I believe.

You can also make french cleats out of clear acrylic if your glass is mostly transparent. They'll still show a bit, but are far less obvious.
