Removing kiln wash from texture molds

I was recently given a number of Creative Paradise texture molds with fine details in them like leaf veins. I'd really like to try them out. I have a question about prepping them. I want to remove the existing kiln wash that's on them and instead spray them with Boron Nitride so the detail comes through. If it can be done, how should I go about it? I appreciate any help and thanks.
