New Kiln arrived today

Post by Caco »

Very excited about my new 42" kiln arriving today directly from the manufacturer.

Should I be critical that the exterior lid has several areas of fire brick with larger scratches and concrete hole patches? As it was so well packed, these did not occur in shipping, but I suspect before they left the manufacturer. I'm a bit deflated at this point, I know I'll add dents as time goes on but expected a clean palate to start with. Thoughts?

Can you post a picture? Most likely it's no big deal.
