Can't get on Bullseye site

Post by Cate G »

I've been trying to access the Bullseye site from my tablet (no internet access where I am) and the site keeps kicking me off. I wanted to try firing frit between 2 sheets of glass, and I know they have a 'how-to' and firing schedule on their site. Does anyone know if Bullseye has a mobile version?

They have one for iPad, I know, and it's got some nice stuff. Tends to send you to the website for most of the stuff.

Firing frit between two sheets of glass? I'm not aware of one, but they probably do have it. Do you mean something like this?

Well, I thought they were talking about frit between 2 sheets of glass. Ugh*#»@. Well, I have the blank in the kiln now with a frit design in between the glass. This Online thing only happens when I am at my studio in upstate NY.
Grrr...Well, the worst is that I have to pop bubbles and re-fuse.

Thanks for the help.

This is probably what you're thinking of: http://www.bullseyeglass.com/methods-id ... power.html

Basically, the idea is to sift powder between two layers of glass before you stack and fire them. You still get bubbles, but they're usually smaller than if you didn't have the powder. Nothing magic about the firing schedule, just be sure to include a bubble soak around 1240F.
