MR97

Post by smallbitz »

I have some older molds that I have used Slide on as a mold release. Do I need to sandblast them before I apply MR97, or can I put MR97 over the Slide? Anyone know?

My SWAG is that you can use it directly over the Slide. I would just brush off what I can of the slide and apply the MR-97.

I think you will like the MR-97 much better (I do).

Thanks. I've used MR97 for a while and like it much better then Slide, but haven't used it on these older molds, or over Slide before. Appreciate the info!
