Need Australian night light base

Post by Drewcilla »

Does anyone have an idea of where I could get a night light base that would work in Australia? I've done an Internet search but have come up with nothing so far.

Thanks,

Actually, I see I wasn't clear. I meant the electrical fixture that one can use to make a night light with a glass shade or front. I would imagine that obtaining one might not be worth the cost.

Can you make a little glass 'shield' that can be mounted in front, independently of the light? It does sound like a lot of bother.

Because they plug directly into the socket a UK type (also 220v) wouldn't work as the configuration of the prongs is different. Battery-operated? Too hard basket.....? Jen
