Getting cerium oxide out of small bubbles.

Hi. I recently bought a flat lap wheel and while I LOVE it, I'm a bit frustrated how to get the dried bits of cerium oxide out of some of the small bubbles after the polishing step. Is it just a matter of wetting the piece and then digging them out with a toothpick?

Any hints or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you, warm glass community!

The pressure washer at the carwash is the least expensive tool rental out there. You put a few quarters in the machine, and you have a pressure washer in your hand. Bring some foam, to cushion your glass, and shoot away. They even give you the soap.

Buy an old Water Pik at a thrift store. Mini water jet!
