Borax or boric acid?

Post by Terry Gallentine »

Which is a stronger flux, borax or boric acid? Are there any other notable differences in the way they work between the two?

All I know is that 20 mule team borax works. I never tried anything else. Some will crystalize at the bottom of the bottle, just pour the liquid off and it works. This stuff is cheap.
