Wall clock - how to hang

Post by seachange »

Hi,

Could you please let me know how to hang a wall clock..?

The glass is 3mm 1/8th float. Size 20x20 cm 8" square.

I bought 3 clock mechanisms several years ago. Never looked at the back, was convinced there would be some sort of slot to hook them onto a screw on the wall. But there isn't.

Have 2 queries

- are there clock mechanisms with such a slot (if there are I rather get the right ones with your guidance)

- otherwise, how do you do it? Would you have a picture? They are for a gift gallery, so I need a safe (and preferably simple) hanging system.

Many thanks in advance from Tasmania, seachange

bend a piece of metal and make the missing hanger to go behind the clock hands.
