bell kiln repair

Post by Dick »

So, I just bought a used bell kiln, and it arrived damaged. i have decided to rebuild the top with all new fiber board, blanket and elements. Would like to know what elements you guys would recommend, and top only or top and side?

Firing chamber 48x48x18"
240 volt single phase

Want to be able to go to 1850. Not often, but want the capability.

Thanks

Dick

For fiber, top only should work.

For brick, both.
