Denver kiln

Hello everybody,
I think that perhaps it is time for me to buy a new kiln , instead of my two 'oldies', which have already given me some problems.
I am considering Denver Kiln

KL-CS27RT Clam Shell , and with the table coming out.
Not cheap but I believe will serve me good. Also need to consider shipment to Israel, and customs here [unless there still exists, the agreement that here they would not charge customs for a product made in USA]

Anyway, can you comment on the quality of these kilns? Will it be a good deal [although expensive]??

Many thanks in advance.
What would you reccomend?

Havi

Never owned one, but Denver kilns have a reputation for not holding up over the long term.

I'd go with a Skutt or Olympic.

What does this mean? [sorry for my poor English]
Does it wear out quickly?? i.e. Does not last long?
Or
Does this mean that it can't fire high?

Thanks,
Havi

It means that the metal rusts and the fiber falls apart or droops down. I've seen three or four in that shape. Don't know if the newer ones are better (but of course you wouldn't know for several years anyway).

I think most of the European kilns are better than the US ones, but of course they're much more expensive.
