A thank you and Float glass techniques

Post by Nikki ONeill »

I returned from teaching a 6 day workshop in Corning last month. The Studio at Corning produced an hour long live stream video that shows a few of the numerous projects we did in class. It's now on YouTube. Thank you Bert, for your many years of sharing your tips on working with float glass. The tip using a screwdriver to tap out circles is a gem. In fact students have told me that that one technique was worth the price of a whole class. And Thank You Jody, for your wonderfully clear and informative publications on creating painted imagery with Ferro Sunshine enamels. They work so well with float! The students had a lot of fun and we kept all 10 kilns firing nearly every night.
