I am planning to make some fused mirrors surrounds. My problem is how do you hang them up. Can you somehow fuse wire into the back? Or do you glue some sort of hanger/loop onto the back once it is complete? Any help in this would be appreciated.

Richard Kolpack makes several really nice options, one that hangs with chains and one that screws into the wall. (I have the chain version -- it's HM01 on his site -- and it would work great for a mirror. I think his WM-01 would work well, too).

I have made some really heavy large fused (and one pated de verre) mirrors. For some I like to drill holes (1/4") and screw the piece to the wall. For others I use silicone to glue wood to backside, and do a french cleat system. Sometimes I paint the wood first if neccesary. I never like relying on glues- or silicone for that matter, so I'm still working on an unobtrusive way to hang wall art!
Hope this helps (PS The silconed wood system has held up well- you have to space the dollops of silicone- not shmear it on one plane.)

I dont know if you can get these in USA but we can buy special mirror clips for attaching large bathroom mirrors flat against the wall.

Cost about 1 dollar for a set of 4 and are fixed to the wall with screws first then the clip parts can be slid out, put up the mirror then slide the clips back over the very edge of the mirror to hold securely.
Should be obtainable at any good hardware shop if they exist your side of the pond.
