hi all, i am doing a series of pieces using (among others) adinkra symbols. alot like what was on my mags. while the symbols themselves are not copyrighted or tm'd i am getting them and the meanings from others published research. my Q: how should i acknowledge the source(s) of this info? i am going to include a piece of printed material with each piece telling about the symbols used. should i do a footnote kind of thing? thanks, rosanna p.s. avery, how do you handle this?
