Didymium Glasses/for glass wearers?

Post by Claudia Whitten »

I am going to be playing with a hot glass artist both lampworking and furnace work. I would like to hear from any of you who wear glasses. What would you recommend for pair that will fit over my glasses.
Thanks,Claudia

Check the new Bullseye cat. They have some to wear over your regular glasses.

I haven't gotten the BE Catalog yet  I was just wanting some feed back from those who have glasses on what they have found to work best.
I guess I should just call Mike at Auralens and ask him....Claudia

Lots of votes for Auralens...I vote for Auralens too.

His site has really good info about what lenses for what work and lots of stlyes too. Mine look like Drew Carey glasses...I love the look, it's stylin' in a Mr. Magoo kinda way.

Hey Thanks you guys. I called Bullseye today and ordered some for over my glasses. I will need to have them by next Tuesday. I will start there and see how I do. They are the AUR92's and I can use them for looking into the flame. I think Robin will have stronger ones if I need them while I am there. He teaches classes and provides the materials. I wanted my own since I have lampworking supplies.
I don't mind the Mr Magoo look, as long as they stay on my face. I wear small glasses for regular glass and was afraid the clip-ons may not stay on well or cover my eyes enough.
I am looking forward to playing next week.
Now just as long as his wife doesn't have her baby early.
