Uroboros Fusion FX frit powder(90COE)...

Post by skin_mechanic »

...I recently purchased the entire color palate. I'm kinda surprised at the inconsistancy of the texture among the various colors. Some colors are super fine(Grenadine Red), others are so coarse that they won't stay suspended in the mineral oil(Spearmint Green). Reading thru their catalog, the size of the powders range from .13mm to .25mm, but the granules look to be a lot larger than that. I'm wondering if some coarser grind got in to the mix somewhere. Contrary to what I had initially thought, the coarser powders are easier to paint with.

Dear Skin,

Those are my observations as well. BE powders are more consistent in grain size.

Cheers,
