newbie bottle question

After slumping a wine bottle, what material should I use to attach the label to the backside of the bottle? I'm thinking coating it with polyurethane. Thanks

That will work. I have attached them with a number of different things. The thing is you can't wash them because of the label maybe getting wet no matter what you use. I have used permanent glues that are sprayed on the bottle or put on the label with good results too. The hardest thing is getting the old glue off and the label nice and flat so that you can put it back on. Have fun with your bottles.
