wire for wine bottle fuse

Just a quick question regarding the hangers for slumped wine bottles, how is it possible to attach a wire to hang the finished product, I've tried glue, doesn't hold, even fusing a piece of wire into the glass, but it cracks, any suggestions? thanks

The easiest way is to put a loop of wire in the neck of the bottle before you slump it. High fire wire, stainless steel. or copper wires all work.
