quick repair to small crack in rigidized 110J ?

I have a rigidized 110J mold, and a horizontal flat part of that mold is developing a crack. My inclination is to patch the underside with some thinner fiber and more rigidizer, perhaps the alumina rigidizer instead of the silica one. Any tricks others have tried ?
