Primo Primer Muck

I have been testing Primo Primer, and like the results. One thing I have noticed though, is the primer tends to "muck" up in my storage container. I mix it in an old Gatorade bottle, put the marbles in it, and shake it up well. If it sits for longer than a day, the primer separates from the water a bit, and mucks up in the bottom.

Any way to avoid this?

I keep Bullseye's primer pre-mixed in a bottle too and it also separates. I just shake well before using. The ingredients are too heavy to stay suspended in water.

There is a primary difference between Bullseye primer and Primo primer. In Bullseye the binder is kaolin EPK clay. In Primo the binder is an organic gum. These materials behave differently in the way they mix and disperse.

Yea, but you can't avoid the separation

Bullseye primer separates just as nicely. I have both, side by side on a shelf, not much difference in appearance except for color.

Kaoilin based primers are easier to remix than gum based.
