What's the difference between clear frit and water clear frit?

different glasses. water clear is more transparent than clear.

Usually the water clear (or crystal clear) is more colorless than the regular clear. It can make a difference, especially when you're mixing colors. Otherwise, they're pretty much interchangeable.

You can really tell the difference if your piece is fairly thick as in a casting.
