Been awhile since I last post here.
I may be wrong but didn't Bullseye used to sell clear and black 1mm & 2mm dichroic stringers in different colors? Did they discontinue this for some reason? Am looking for a source.

Yes but I'd suspect the black was one of the casualties of the 'can't make black' period if they don't have it now.
Check with CBS and the other coaters.
Black also had the habit of rolling to invisibility unless prefired flat one side.
