Tack fusing, but different

Hello, I did a full fuse with 2 layers Spectrum glass. After that full fuse I did a tack fuse with 2 layers on the first glass. Temp. 750 degrees Celsius. But the 2 layers had spread out, it look like a full fuse. Do you have to use a lower temp. by 4 layers ? Jan de Jong

How long did you hold at 750?

Are you sure your thermocouple is reading correctly?
Whatever the case, maybe hit your target temp for only 5 minutes?
