Hello ! Is there in one of the books of Lundstrom a DIY for Universal Mould Release ? If yes....in which book ? Thank you for your help ! Jan de Jong (Holland)

not that I know of.
It was originally a fusing ranch product.
If you can find it, buy it.
I suspect that the coat, but I have zero idea if my suspicion is correct and nor have I ever done any testing to see, is that it would be alumina hydrate.
A lot of fancy priced materials used for glass are commonly found cheaper at pottery supply places.

Difficult to find, so I try it now with this solution I ever read somewhere: Handsoap with water on the glazed ceramic.
Let dry and then the seperator. Jan

Brilliant idea. Not that I ever use commercially available objects for molds as I make all my own.
Of course there is one issue with using glazed ceramic plates for molds is that unless you are willing to drill air escape holes in them, you may have bubbles forming.

I recall that the Universal Mold Release involved mixing something with common house paint. It could be coated directly over bowls, etc. that were already glazed such as plated or bowls you may already have. Don't remember what the "something" was.
