Same old studio.....new work

Post by Doug »

This empending series of work will be taking me on a new journey using casting, laminated, carved and painted glass in both sculptural and vessel form. This series will deal with expressing the human emotion...sometimes as tounge and cheek. Heres some preliminary images.... 8)

Pictures just a little too fuzzy to make out fabrication details. Some sort of Colemanesque fusing-in-place? Or cast lids on glued and sandblasted boxes? Just can't tell. Do tell. Brock

You got it...all the above. Fused, lam'd and cast, and sandblasted, as well as a new (to me) paint (cold) that has lots of transparency.
