Blanket

Post by Yardic Glassworks »

Recovered from the last piece; New piece going in for firing...

UPDATE: Final fuse done which left some texture on the edges, then slumped into the final blanket form. Note how the Steel Blue went back to the steel color at the lower slumping temp.

Bob,
I didn't really keep track of the time involved, but it has a thousand or so pieces. It took 4 trips in the kiln.
Havi,
"Recovered" was what it felt like after the last piece I was working on never really came together the way I wanted it to. I like this one much better. Thanks everyone for the nice comments. Tim

What an effort to get clean lines and than to slump into such a sexy organic image of a rug in the wind, that is very cool. Thank you. peace, haydo
