I love, love, love the nests. What is the smallish portion immediately surrounding the egg made of?

:D Thank you so kindly. It means a lot. It is a small metal nest of twisted wire. Goes with the forged metal branch nest underneath. Les

Les,
You have been nothing but kind and helpful on this board. I too, almost left after a man was rude to me. It's easy to be crass and rude behind a screen. You cannot control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them. Love your work and really enjoy the photos and process- its so helpful to us who have not done this.

all the best
Shereen
