Sugar Skull Mask

I made this piece for an art and music festival last weekend.

I am not familiar with the term Sugar Skull. Is that a process or type of mask? I like your strong colors and design elements.Only recently have I explored some of the Mexican skull art. It evokes strong emotion. Nice job.
