Careful with that blob word, you'll raise the hounds.
Link doesn't work. Brock

Thanks Brock. Looks like I'll have to find another place to post them.

I noticed that with this link, Jerry, they actually come up with a page that says "image referrals not allowed." That's a lot more considerate than places like Yahoo, which just refuse to work properly.

My favorite kind of hound is the blob hound.

Jerry - no luck - still states Image Referrals not allowed.
Could possibly work for you and not others if you are a registered user and we (the others) are not. :(

Jim - Thanks. The odd part, I have another link posted and it works jsut fine. I'll ask TDS about photo sharing. That's a new one on me.

Haven't figured out how to include the image itself in posts.

The reason it would work for you and not for others is that the photo is already cached on your PC from when you originally looked at the site. Since we haven't seen it, it's not cached on our PC, but when we try to view it the site intervenes and doesn't allow image referrals.

A link should always work for everybody, assuming the site doesn't require a registration or do something else flaky. (I believe "flaky" is a technical term.)

Brad, generally I would agree with you. There's something different about this occurance. I purged every cache file on my PC trying to make it work. Purged everthing, history as well.

Oh well. Back to the techy day job.

Well, hmmm.. That sound you hear is me scratching my head.

Don't have the slightest idea.

Brad - My day job is technology. We're scratching our heads too. Sometimes you just have to forget about it. Better things to think about anyhow. Like where's the next show.

It's probably spooky firewall stuff. And yes, sometimes we IT folks just scratch our heads and try not to think too hard about it.

Bev - who's a tech at her day job, too

I spoke with the moderators on that site. Photo sharing is not allowed. Which I understand and respect completely. They must have a bug since some photos work and others don't. We've tried various PC's around the office which have never had my photos on them, some work, some don't.

Ah the wonderful world of technology.

It's time to build my own website anyway. Any of you have any spare time to loan me?

Thanks for all your help.
