Fuse compatible glass when casting?

Must I use fusing compatbile glass when doing a casting of a single color and from the same sheet of glass ?

If I'm mixing multiple glass I understand the necessisity to ensure all glasses are compatible. But what about a single color, from same sheet ?

Virtually all sheets are compatible with themselves, so if you're using only sheet, you shouldn't have to worry about compatibility.
