Current Price of Silver and gold

Post by Geri Comstock »

Does anyone have a link to a site that provides today's silver and gold prices? I did a Google Search and didn't come up with anything.

Thanks -

I have a customized Web Page with Yahoo called My Yahoo. When I launch Internet Explorer, this page comes up. I have all the info I want pushed to me (i.e., my stocks, my horoscope, my incurable need for entertainment gossip). On this page I also have a currency converter so I can check how the %^&*(#@!)*&% Euro is doing (sorry for the foul language) plus silver, gold, palladium.

I can see gold is down to 396 and silver to 6.09. Guess I'm going to 47th St. tomorrow.

Hey Melissa - I also have a "my yahoo" page with stock prices on it, but I couldn't figure out where gold and silver are listed to add them to the page. Can you tell me where they are in the setup page?

Thanks -

Hi Geri,

Go to the very bottom of your "MY Yahoo" page. On the right sight, you will see "add right side content" pull down menu. It's called "currency converter". Add the currency you wish to track. Gold, silver, palladium, etc. are listed in the currencies.

Darn! Silver is back up to 6.26.

Let me know if you require further assistance.

Regards,

Melissa

Wasn't $6/ounce silver nice! (I remember buying it at ~$3.50/oz not long before these 2004 posts, and now it's at what, $30/oz?)

Wow. This was a blast from the past. When I started doing silver work in 1993, silver was $4.50 an ounce. Those were the days! I last looked sometime last week and it was over $30...maybe $32. I last bought silver a while bak when it was $28.

I still remember the day I was doing a show and silver had hit $50.
