Hi all. I am going to upgrade my displays for art shows and craft shows. I was noodling around on the internet looking for shelves that easily set up and break down. I stumbled on a YouTube video by Simon Leach on the shelves he had made for shows. He is a potter. They look really nice and set up/breakdown easily. I will make them myself and put lighting under each shelf except the bottom one though. What do you who do shows display on?

Kevin, what is Instand? When I google it I get a site that sells portable laptop stands and podium type stands. I also found a site in the same google search called Nomadic Display that has wall displays for commercial shows. I can't find anything on their site like shelving.

I had one almost 30 years ago.

Cate, these are the shelf units I take for indoor and outdoor shows. This is the beginning of a set-up in my garage for an open studios event. I use pipe and drape, white table drapes (so I can stash crates of inventory under the tables) and these no-tools required glass shelving units. They're inexpensive, tempered glass, take about five minutes each to set up, and have withstood over 10 years' worth of shows so far. The taller units on the end and in the middle even have another shelf, to make them taller, which I haven't used in this photo.

Google 'no tools required glass shelves' and you'll find several retailers who carry them. Mine are from Stacks N Stacks, but they're long gone, I believe. I bought one unit from Bed, Bath & Beyond a few years ago when I needed more.
