Visit to San Diego Area

Post by Cindy next door »

Yes, it's me again and yes I get to have another vacation, but this time with kids and the husband so I won't get to get as much gallery visiting in.

Suggestions for galleries not to miss?

The FIRST place to go, would be the Art Glass Guild, Studio #25 in Spanish Village, Balboa Park. We are sort of tucked into the corner, don't forget to look for #25.

for glass events around town:

A personal favorite:

There is also a lot to see around the gas lamp area down town, and down town La Jolla. Those spots have great restaurants, so you could just browse after dinner or something.

Thanks Deb, that's a great help. And I see Dick is there too, all the more reason to go!

In old town there is a glass blower that has a studio set up so you can see them blowing.

Also Blacksheep Glass Comcpany is there, not sure if they are open for walkins.
