I've got blisters on me fingers

Post by Rocky Gentry »

I have worn the fingers out of my Zetex gloves through the outer weave but not all the way through the lining. Is there anything I can wrap
the fingers with to get a bit more use out of them? Fireproof tape or something race car drivers or stunt men use? Thank you Hari Georgeson
for the title of the subject of this post.

Hi Rocky,

Tape for repairing mufflers?

The sash from your bath robe?

Cheers,

Bob

I fear that the flash tan ( on me nether parts ) from the lack of the sash on me bathrobe out weighs the danger of the blisters on me fingers. I will wrap all me parts in muffler repair tape ( whatever that is ) and tell you what got burnt and what didn't. If anything singes, I hold you responsible.

you can get aluminum, rather than cloth, duct tape.

btw: one shouldn't use duct tape on ducts, oddly enough.

Many suppliers, sell mitten ends that will fit over gloves. Usually about $18, a pair.

Send pix!

Think of them as a "how to" chapter inclusion in a book of 'What to Do/What Not to Do When Firing Your Kiln".
